Fabrication Lead | Wyoming, MI Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excelling in fabrication lead? We are collaborating with leading companies in Wyoming seeking Fabrication Leads to lead and enhance their operations. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Wyoming seeking Fabrication Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Direct daily fabrication operations, including cutting, welding, and assembly. Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabrication technicians. Ensure all fabricated products meet specified quality standards and blueprints. Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction. Maintain a safe working environment and enforce adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate with engineering and production planning to meet project deadlines. Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication equipment malfunctions and process issues. Recommended Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication techniques (welding, cutting, forming). Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing fabrication setting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of fabrication safety standards and quality control procedures. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement effective solutions. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam). Advanced welding certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS D1.1). Experience programming and operating automated fabrication equipment (e.g., CNC plasma, laser cutters, robotic welding).
