General Manager | Cadillac, MI Salary Range: $133,000 - $184,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excelling in general manager? The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking General Managers. Key Responsibilities Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage the facility's profit and loss (P&L), budget, and financial performance to achieve organizational goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies. Drive operational efficiency through the application of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing operations leadership and management Strong P&L management and financial acumen Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Strategic planning and execution capabilities to achieve business growth targets Deep understanding of quality systems, safety regulations, and compliance standards Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Experience leading digital transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, M.S. in Supply Chain Management). Fluency in a second language relevant to global markets or supply chains. Proven experience with M&A integration in a manufacturing environment.
