Seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Counsel (State Licensed) to join the legal team in a full-time remote capacity, where the candidate will lead customer negotiations, manage complex commercial software transactions, and provide legal oversight aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities Lead customer negotiations and deal management for large complex software and professional services transactions globally Collaborate with sales leadership to align business requirements and manage the deal pipeline effectively Provide legal counsel that supports strategic objectives while ensuring compliance and risk management Required qualifications JD from an accredited law school and admitted to at least one state bar in the U.S 15+ years of legal experience in business and transactional law within the technology industry, with significant in-house experience Extensive experience negotiating large complex software and SaaS transactions with global enterprise customers Strong knowledge of global legal considerations related to B2B software licensing, including data privacy and security Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office 365 and cloud-based CLM platforms
