Summary
Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and provide mental health service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis.
Major Job Duties
Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.
Develop and implement care plans.
Participate in training and supervision as assigned and required.
Documents client progress and properly maintains client records.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
At least five (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment.
A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Great observational skills to assess behavioral changes.
Physical abilities (e.g. ability to walk stairs, lift up to 40lbs)
