The Estimator is responsible for preparing competitive fixed price quotes (labor and material) for maritime ship repair/refit and industrial repair/refit. Determine work procedures, crew size, machines/tools sub-contractors, and materials required to accomplish work at competitive price and acceptable margins. Conduct ship checks/in order to properly evaluate the scope of work and obtain accurate bill of material (BOM) quotes in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
