Provides nursing assistance and personal care to all residents under the direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties.
Assisting residents with appropriate activities, encouraging them to participate in individual and group activities. Assist residents with walk to dine ambulation programs and as much exercise as recommended. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors. Follow infection control guidelines per nursing policies and procedures. Train and mentor newly recruited CNAs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 1 year of CNA experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Certified Nursing Assistant License issued by the State of Florida and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
