Prepare quarterly and annual income, franchise tax returns for federal, state and local, and international tax purposes to ensure timely tax compliance. Responsible for tax payments and refunds. Prepare on-book tax provision in accordance with ASC 740. Prepare accounting entries related to the tax accrual, payments and refunds. Improve and streamline income tax compliance process. Assist in tax audits and gather compliance information for audit purposes. Implement special tax compliance projects to achieve tax efficiency. Respond to notices from taxing authorities. Research the law for any issues with regard to income and franchise taxes and other filings.
BS in Accounting or related area Master in business taxation CPA license required 5+ years of public accounting ("Big 4" tax department experience preferred Strong income tax provision and compliance experience Working knowledge of CorpTax provision and compliance software Strong tax research skills
