The Senior Accountant will apply accounting principles to analyze financial information, support the month-end close process, and prepare accurate financial reports. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional accuracy, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Compile and analyze financial information; prepare and post general ledger entries. Execute month-end and general ledger closings. Conduct revenue and expense analysis to identify trends, variances, and shifts. Audit supporting documents (contracts, vouchers, etc.) to substantiate transactions. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies/procedures. Review and correct errors in financial entries, documents, and reports. Verify, post, and reconcile business transactions, including receipts and disbursements. Maintain updated records for P&L, taxes, liabilities, and asset accounts. Prepare special financial reports for leadership based on account analysis and trends.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required) 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience using GAAP Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles
