Job Description: We are looking for Operation Advisors, at all levels, to join our intelligence program supporting a key government sponsor in Northern Virginia! As an Ops Advisor, you will support a wide range of operational and programmatic activities, and will be expected to provide thorough and knowledgeable briefings on their analysis to the customer.

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 2-5 based off their experience and customer feedback after multiple assessments.

The advisor shall possess the following capabilities:

• Demonstrated proficiency in various writing and briefing styles.
• Proven ability to write clear and concise products under tight deadlines.
• Experience briefing senior executive management.
• Demonstrated success in multiple official overseas assignments in a senior leadership position.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to operational challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to apply counterintelligence and risk management principles to safeguard operations.
• Demonstrated ability to respond to field requests and draft communications to preserve and support operational equities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and support operational requirements; serve as an interface between customer equities domestically, in the field, and with other agencies on geographic or transnational issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and track cases; draft, coordinate, and monitor intelligence reports and production; and provide timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis using customer tools and databases; and to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in a geographical area or substantive issue.

Qualifications:

• Level 3
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated tradecraft-related work experience.
  • At least one (1) CONUS or OCONUS tour as either the head of the customer site or as a referent for operations.
  • At least two (2) total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS), or the equivalent of four (4) years of TDY experience.
  • Sponsor certified/training as an operations officer.
  • Active security clearance with appropriate polygraph.
• Level 4
  • Twelve (12) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated tradecraft-related work experience.
  • At least two (2) CONUS or OCONUS tours as either the head of the customer site or as a referent for operations.
  • At least four (4) total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS), or the equivalent of four (4) years of TDY experience.
  • Sponsor certified/training as an operations officer.
  • Active security clearance with appropriate polygraph.
• Level 5
  • Twenty (20) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Tradecraft-related work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze
  • Strong analytic writing and editing skills
  • Sponsor certified/training as an operations officer
  • Active security clearance with appropriate Polygraph

*** Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a college degree ***

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification in sponsor basic tradecraft courses

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: $138,407 - $203,114
