Medical Assistant Opportunity

Presbyterian is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, and support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization, and in-basket support with the EMR.

Other information: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior Healthcare experience preferred. Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire. BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required.
