Corporate Compliance Analyst
At Regions, the Corporate Compliance Analyst is a second line of defense risk management function that ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining a program infrastructure that identifies, measures, and monitors compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules that govern a specific line of business. Associates at this level should have full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and are also considered analytical or procedural experts within a specific line of business. Associates will have influence over process and policy changes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains a proficient knowledge of rules and regulations and their impact on products, services, and operations for a specific line of business
- Conducts research of laws and regulations that impact compliance to include monitoring for new laws and regulations or changes to existing laws and regulations and providing communication to appropriate lines of business which will be impacted by these changes
- Administers a monitoring and testing program to ensure effective compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Gathers information requested by regulatory agencies
- Focuses on the resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes
- May supervise day-to-day work of other professional level compliance associates
- Offers advice and guidance to junior associates for sake of continuous improvement
- Oversees creation and delivery of training to assigned business area to increase compliance awareness
- Serves as subject matter expert and performs administrative duties related to a particular line of business systems and database management maintaining knowledge of database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues related to compliance, regulatory projects, and risk management
- Resolves work flow issues, and oversees quality improvement techniques
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience in compliance, quality assurance/control, audit, or other related compliance function specific to a line of business
- Or High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of experience in compliance, quality assurance/control, audit, or other related compliance function specific to a line of business
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment as it relates to compliance in a specific line of business
Preferences
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $108,478.70 USD
Median: $147,020.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans:
This job may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.
