Job Duties

PGH is currently hiring for evening/night shift rotations-12 hour night shifts are 7pm-7:30am, 8 hour shifts are 3pm-11:30 or 11p-7:30am. Evening shift & Night shift 5 8 hour shifts are also available-3p-11:30pm & 11:00p-7:30am.

This position will provide direct patient care according to individualized treatment care plans. This will include helping patients with activities of daily living and helping patients learn new social and inter-actionable skills in a safe therapeutic environment. -Ability to provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff; ability to follow instructions and report observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to licensed nurse in timely manner -Skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living; has knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders. -Demonstrate competencies as defined on Competency Assessment. Shift Differential for Direct Service Associate/CNA Role- 49053 $2.50 Per hour Second Shift Weekday $2.25 Per hour Third Shift Weekday $3.00 Per hour First Shift Weekend/First Shift Weekday Holiday $3.00 Per hour Second Shift Weekend/Second Shift Weekday Holiday $3.00 Per hour Third Shift Weekend/Third Shift Holiday

Minimum Qualifications

- Valid Drivers license - Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant license - Basic computer skills

Additional Considerations

Health care experience preferred Long Term Care and Nursing Home experience preferred. Previous psychiatric experience preferred Knowledge of nursing scope of practice preferred Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
