To support a growing team, the remote State Licensed Cytogenetics Analyst will perform FISH analysis and cytogenetic evaluations while ensuring accurate reporting of test results in a full-time capacity. Key responsibilities Perform FISH analysis and cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads using computerized images Review test requisitions and summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and software to ensure proper functionality and report findings to supervisors Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG) At least 1 year of experience in FISH and Chromosomes for Oncology Cytogenetics Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficiency with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems
