CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

Certified Nursing Assistant

This is a PRN position with a compensation range of $17.99 to $23.99. The position classification is non-exempt.

Essential functions and basic duties include:

• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition
• Performing delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills
• Documenting care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Communicating clearly and appropriately with patients, families, and care team
• Completing documentation of care/behaviors with accuracy
• Respecting the confidentiality of patient information
• Recognizing and reporting changes in the patient's condition
• Demonstrating caring attitudes and behaviors
• Demonstrating respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions
• Demonstrating knowledge of facility safety
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

• At least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions with a valid driver's license)
• Ability to legally work in the United States
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
• Complete employee health meeting

Required education/licensure/certification:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent), preferred
• Valid Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required
• Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days)

Experience:

• One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience, preferred
• Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience, preferred
