Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Not specified License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: N/A Description: Join a cutting-edge team to provide the highest quality cardiac care as a Registered Nurse. The unit provides specialized cardiac care for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac conditions. This includes management of electrolyte-related dysrhythmias and tachy-brady syndromes. The team also cares for patients awaiting heart transplantation and those with implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators. Additionally, expert management is offered for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This includes pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, ablation, and chemical cardioversion with anti-dysrhythmic therapy. Tikosyn is one of the therapies used in these cases.
