Integrative Medicine with Purpose, Compassion, and Impact.

Location: Salish Cancer Center | Fife, WA | On-Site

Status: Part-Time | 0.5 FTE | 20 Hrs/Wk

Hiring Range: $46.55 - $74.75 per hour

Position Close Date: Open Until Filled

At Salish Cancer Center, we believe cancer care should treat the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Acupuncturist to join our integrative care team in a part-time capacity (0.5 FTE) and help expand access to Traditional Chinese Medicine within a collaborative oncology setting.

This is a meaningful opportunity to work alongside oncologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary providers to support symptom management, treatment-related side effects, and overall well-being for patients navigating cancer care.

What You'll Do:

As our Oncology Acupuncturist at Salish Cancer Center, you will provide high-quality acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine services within an integrative oncology model. You'll play an essential role in helping patients improve quality of life during and after treatment, while contributing to a culturally responsive and patient-centered care environment.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and individualized treatment planning grounded in clinical findings and integrative oncology best practices
  • Provide acupuncture and related therapeutic modalities, including Tui Na, Qigong, meditation techniques, and other supportive therapies as appropriate
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, expected outcomes, precautions, and post-treatment care
  • Recommend and provide education on Chinese herbal medicine, including safety, contraindications, and potential interactions
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with oncology providers to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective care
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support dietary supplement inventory and patient education related to integrative services
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, infection control, and quality assurance
What You Bring:
  • Graduate of an ACAOM-accredited College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
  • Certification by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
  • Current Washington State license as an East Asian Medicine Practitioner
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working with oncology patients
