Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: CNOR Preferred Must-Have: Level II or Level I Trauma Experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The unit has 30 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, and Anesthesia Techs. Various equipment is utilized in the OR. Documentation is performed using the Epic system. Scheduling is a night shift block schedule with no call and no weekends. Floating is not required. Patient experience requirements include Level II or Level I Trauma Experience. Advanced skills are necessary to circulate all service lines, including incoming traumas. All service lines are performed in this unit. Navy scrubs are required and must be home laundered. Unit-specific policies and guidelines should be reviewed.
