Shifts needed :

West Baltimore : 2 : 30pm-7 : 30pm Monday-Friday

Columbia : 4 : 30pm-8 : 30pm Monday-Friday and 12 : 00pm-5 : 00pm Saturdays

Duties :

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and community outings
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
• Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their privacy and dignity
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of resident information

Experience :

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for individuals' needs

Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed

Familiarity with first aid and basic medical procedures

Experience in behavior management techniques is a plus

Valid driver's license and ability to drive residents to appointments or activities
