Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Gibsonia Dental Care (Gibsonia, PA) – Hiring Urgently!

Gibsonia Dental Care is actively seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing, high‑energy team! This is an amazing opportunity to work in a supportive environment with two ambitious doctors who are passionate about patient care and team success.

Located @ 5161 William Flynn Highway STE, B Gibsonia, PA 15044

Position Details

• Schedule: 2 days per week
• Preferred Days: Mondays & Fridays (flexibility available!)
• Location: Gibsonia, PA
• Lunch: 1‑hour lunch every shift

About the Practice

A thriving 2‑doctor practice with:

• Dr. Colangelo – 10 years of experience
• Dr. Mickoloff – 2 years of experience
  Both are driven, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence.

Appointment Times

We value giving our hygienists the time needed to deliver outstanding care:

• Recare: 50 minutes
• New Patients: 70 minutes
• SRP: 60 minutes (or longer if the hygienist recommends)

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

0 years of clinical experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
