Location: Columbia, SC hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Project Scope:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to support mission-critical enterprise systems, including case management databases, data warehouse platforms, and reporting environments.
This role involves advanced database administration, performance tuning, security hardening, disaster recovery planning, and cross-database standardization within a SQL Server environment. The DBA will collaborate with development, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity, system availability, and optimal performance across enterprise systems.

Required Skills & Experience:
· 7+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
· 3+ years in performance tuning and query optimization
· 3+ years supporting data integrity and governance
· 3+ years working with data warehouse architecture and reporting systems
· 3+ years in database security and compliance
· 3+ years in automation and DevOps support
Preferred Skills:
· Experience in government or public sector environments
· Knowledge of Power BI backend optimization
· Understanding of .NET application data access patterns
· Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups
· Experience with Azure DevOps
· Experience handling legacy data cleanup and multi-system integration
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
