MUST Haves : 2+ years experienceActive ND and Compact RN License (willing to get)Active BLS required - must be American Heart AssociationNRP - requiredAble and willing to float to PICU and PEDS - please include these skills checklists at time of submissionExperience with EPIC - highly preferredLevel III NICU experienceGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Level 3 NICUDeliver nursing care to neonates assess / diagnose / establish plan with outcome criteria / intervene / evaluate / chart. Assist with procedures to include, but not limited to, intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, admissions.Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.Conventional ventilators (Draeger), high frequency ventilators jet and oscillator, nitric oxide, cool cap, MedFusion pumps, Smart pumps, Spacelab monitors, Epic charting, MAK for medications, Accudose.Required skills and minimum years of experience.2+ years Perform neonatal assessments, care for IV s Umbilical lines, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Oral and IV medications, OG and NG feedings, G-tubesSpecific licensures and certifications / registrations required. NRP and AHA BLS
