We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehab team at a well-established skilled nursing facility (SNF) in St. Petersburg, FL.
This is an ideal opportunity for an SLP looking for flexibility, clinical variety, and a supportive team environment—without the limitations of contract therapy companies.
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled therapy in cognitive-linguistic rehab, communication, and dysphagia management
Treat across a long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing population
Complete timely documentation (evaluations, daily notes, discharges) using Net Health (or similar EMR)
Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and interdisciplinary team
Educate patients, families, and staff on safe swallowing and communication strategies

Cognitive / Behavioral Health
Active Florida SLP License (required)
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs considered with support)
SNF / LTC experience preferred but not required
Experience with dysphagia and cognitive therapy strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
