TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Coos Bay, Oregon, 97420!
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in labor and delivery with current fetal heart monitoring experience required. License: Oregon nursing license preferred, must be willing to obtain. Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP required. Must-Have: - Current fetal heart monitoring experience - BLS certification - NRP certification Description: This position involves managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. The role does not include circulating or scrubbing in the operating room. Fetal surveillance will be performed using specific monitoring systems. Documenting patient care in the medical record is a key responsibility. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential for the effective coordination of patient care. Teaching patients and their support persons is a vital part of this role. Experience with electronic health record systems is highly preferred.
