Job Overview
We are seeking a Local Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for local healthcare professionals seeking a flexible travel assignment while remaining close to home.
The LPN will provide high-quality patient care, administer treatments and medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions and responses
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Report changes in patient status to supervising RN
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
