Director of Administration | Project Management | Administrative Assistance Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and client-focused accounting professional to join our rapidly growing firm. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ financial operations and helping them navigate growth and change with confidence. As a Client Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role on a high-performing, collaborative team—serving as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small businesses to large enterprises across various industries. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communication and relationship-building. Enter monthly journal entries to properly record accounting transactions, ensuring that journal entries have proper back up to substantiate the entry. Ensure all balance sheet accounts, including accruals, are accurately stated, and reconciled. Post payroll journal entries provided by third party payroll processing (ADP) Reconcile Intercompany balances. Credit card reconciliation. Closely review and reconcile cash on a weekly basis. Prepare and track accruals for assets and liabilities. Reconcile client and vendor accounts as needed. Analyze trends, data, information, and able to research effectively. Play a significant role during the period close. Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, industry, and financial needs to deliver customized accounting support and strategic insights. Respond to client inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner. Present financial results, reconciliations, and key trends to clients with clarity and professionalism. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, transparency, and value-added service. Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related accounting experience CPA preferred but not required Working knowledge of the following: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Reconciliation of balance sheet, Compilation of supporting financial reports Must have attention to detail; problem-solving skills; initiative. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead conversations and drive client success. Driven, versatile, and timely. Desire to learn, improve, and grow with firm. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, managers, and clients.
