Job Summary
This position involves assisting the Production group in the setup and operation of equipment within a process development or limited production environment. Responsibilities include setting up repeat work, training other employees, performing specific preventive maintenance tasks, documenting process conditions and results, and quality reporting. Occasionally, this role may require temporarily assuming the duties of a Laser Operator.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and operation of production equipment.
- Conduct training for other employees as needed.
- Perform specific preventive maintenance tasks.
- Document process conditions and results accurately.
- Report on quality and process outcomes.
- Assume the role of Laser Operator when required due to workload conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- years of relevant experience in the operation and setup of complex test or mechanical equipment.
- Ability to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Mechanical and analytical aptitude.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment within primary job functions.
- Experience in programming G code or similar languages.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- Strong math skills and the ability to read blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's level technical training.
