Agency Owner & Protégé Opportunities – Farmers Insurance Location: Long Beach, CA (In-Office) Position Type: Full-Time | Leadership / Ownership Track Opportunity Overview We are partnering with a Farmers Insurance District Manager in Long Beach, California to identify experienced insurance professionals interested in agency ownership opportunities within the Farmers network. This opportunity is designed for driven, entrepreneurial leaders who are ready to either: Develop into agency ownership through the Farmers Protégé Program , or Move directly into agency ownership via acquisition or retail startup. Both pathways offer long-term growth, leadership responsibility, and business ownership within a nationally recognized insurance brand. Two Ownership Pathways Available Farmers Protégé Program (Ownership Development Track) Ideal for professionals who want structured mentorship before opening their own agency. Work closely with a District Manager Develop sales leadership and agency operations skills Gain hands-on experience building and managing an agency Clear path to launching your own Farmers agency Direct Agency Owner Opportunity Best suited for experienced professionals ready to step directly into ownership. Acquire an existing book of business or launch a retail agency Lead all operations, sales, staffing, and growth initiatives Operate as a business owner from day one Candidate Profile Required: Active California Property & Casualty license Strong insurance, sales, or leadership background Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term ownership goals Preferred: Experience in agency management, sales leadership, or business ownership Proven ability to lead teams and drive growth Strong communication and decision-making skills Role Expectations (Varies by Path) Drive sales and business development Lead agency operations and team performance Build long-term client relationships Execute growth strategies aligned with Farmers standards Location & Schedule Full-time, in-office role Based in Long Beach, California Compensation & Growth Potential Compensation varies by pathway and performance Long-term income tied to agency growth and ownership Access to Farmers training, systems, and leadership support Significant upside for high performers Next Steps Qualified candidates will be prescreened and invited to speak directly with the District Manager to determine the most appropriate ownership pathway based on experience and goals.
