We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced legal professionals with strong U.S. legal research and reasoning expertise, excellent reading comprehension, and the ability to work carefully across complex judicial materials. This role supports an exciting collaboration with leading AI companies focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand legal reasoning and judicial language through high-quality structured legal writing, review, and annotation workflows grounded in real U.S. court records. Selected professionals will review and annotate U.S. court opinions and legal filings sourced from CourtListener, write complex legal reasoning problems based on real court materials, apply legal judgment to evaluate case outcomes and reasoning quality, and help improve overall model quality. This opportunity is especially well-suited to detail-oriented legal experts who are comfortable working with federal and state court materials and can apply consistent judgment across structured legal tasks.
