Rail Car Loading Operator
This position exists to perform the duties of a Rail Car Loading Operator within the LDPE Department.
Major areas of accountability include relieving shift properly, checking silo levels, inspecting loading stations, inspecting hopper cars for defects, operating locomotive, weighing hopper cars, performing minor hopper car repairs, switching knowledge, performing loading operator round inspections, performing minor repairs to loading equipment, performing magnet and screen inspections, maintaining log book, providing samples to the lab, cleaning work area per THM, adhering to all company policies and procedures including ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, federal and state laws, regulatory and company requirements, complying with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements including daily audits, managing hazardous and non-hazardous wastes as required by state and federal regulations and in compliance with FPC-TX policies regarding hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, working outside normal shift hours as needed, maintaining regular and reliable attendance, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include previous related experience required, technical skills required to perform this job, high school diploma or equivalent required, and other certification/training required.
