GTM Engineering Intern (Customer Success & Agentic AI)

Role Overview

TheGTM Engineering Internwill occupy a specialized technical role dedicated to bridging the gap between Customer Success strategy and autonomous execution. This position focuses on the design and deployment ofAgentic AI—systems capable of reasoning,utilizingtools, and executing multi-step workflows with minimal human intervention.

You willbe responsible formoving the organization beyond simple chatbots toward "Autonomous Success Agents" that driverenewals and expansionsand operational scale through sophisticated automation and theMicrosoft Copilotecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

1. Agentic AI & Autonomous System Development

• AgenticDevelopment:Design and implement multi-agent systems usingMicrosoft Copilot StudioandMicrosoft Power Automatethat can autonomously research customer health, reason through complex account signals, andinitiatecorrective actions.

• Tool-Use & Function Calling:Develop and configure "skills" or "plugins" that allow AI agents to interact directly with internal APIs, databases, and GTM tools (e.g., Clay, Salesforce, Slack) to perform tasks such as updating account plans or triggering renewal sequences.

• Reasoning Loops:Build and refine agentic reasoning loops (e.g., Chain-of-Thought orReActpatterns) to ensure AI-driven automations provide high-accuracy outputs in complex, non-linear Customer Success scenarios.

2. Workflow Engineering & Orchestration

• End-to-End Automation:Identifymanual bottlenecks in the customer lifecycle andarchitectend-to-end automated solutions that integrate disparate data sources (Product, CRM, Support) into a unified execution layer.

• Data Grounding:Ensure all agentic workflows are grounded in "live" customer data,utilizingRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and data orchestration platforms likeClaytomaintaincontext and relevance.

• System Resilience:Implement monitoring and "Human-in-the-loop" (HITL) checkpoints to ensure autonomous agentsoperatewithin defined guardrails and align with brand sentiment.

3. Commercial Impact & Strategy

• Revenue Engineering:Align automation projects with commercial outcomes, specifically focusing on increasing CSM "books of business" capacity andidentifyingexpansion opportunities through automated intent signals.

• Strategic Prototyping:Rapidly prototype customer-facing agents that can autonomouslyassistin technical onboarding or product adoption milestones, reducing the time-to-value for the end-user.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related quantitative field in their penultimate year of study(graduating between December 2026-May 2027)

• StrongproficiencyinPythonand experience with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g.,LangChain, Semantic Kernel, orAutoGen).

• Demonstrated understanding ofAgentic AI concepts, including tool-augmented generation, autonomous planning, and multi-agent collaboration.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern data structures (JSON, SQL, NoSQL).

• Available to work onsight from June 1st- August 17th in office (locations posted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withMicrosoft Copilot Studioor the broaderPower Platformecosystem.

• Familiarity with GTM data orchestration tools (e.g., Clay) and their application in automated prospecting or account management.

• Knowledge of the SaaS "Land and Expand" model and the technical metrics associated with Customer Success (Churn, NRR, LTV).
