About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on toxic tort and product liability defense. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the lead on a variety of cases in this area, managing all aspects of the legal process including discovery, motions, depositions, and expert work. This role also involves preparing cases for trial, shaping legal strategy, and mentoring junior attorneys. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned litigator with a minimum of 8 years' experience in relevant fields such as toxic tort, asbestos, general liability, employment, bad faith/fraud, or insurance defense. While trial experience is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement. The position offers the opportunity to work with a high degree of autonomy, and the company values flexibility, collaboration, and a supportive work environment. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company must be admitted to the California Bar and reside in the state. The role requires a professional who can work independently with minimal supervision, and who is adept at managing a heavy caseload.
