• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)
• Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 — Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (local travel CRNA opportunity)
• Start Date: July and August dates
• Duration: PRN
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (7am–3pm weekdays)
• Call Schedule: One night of call per week (3pm–7am) and 1:5 weekend call rotation
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,990 – $4,650 per week

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA certification and state licensure in North Carolina (or eligible for NC licensure)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience
• Proficiency with epidural placement, labor epidurals, and spinals/ITNs in obese patients
• Comfortable providing anesthesia care for pediatric patients
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient perioperative anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and podiatry
• Perform epidurals, spinals, and moderate procedural sedation (including occasional ER cases)
• Deliver obstetric anesthesia services including labor epidurals when applicable
• Collaborate with a team of 4 experienced CRNAs and 1 MDA (MD anesthesiologist)
• Participate in the established call rotation (one night per week and every 5th weekend)
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a busy surgical setting (approx. 200 cases/month)
• No code response or ER backup required
