This hybrid position will be responsible for the continuous and effective flow of all carrier movement entering and exiting the facility. This person will be accountable for maintaining efficient access and egress of the property by controlling carrier delivery and pick-up appointments, as assigned on the daily delivery schedule. Will direct carriers and visitors to appropriate parking/staging areas or dock doors, as well as remain in constant contact with the AS/RS Office Administrator to inform the dock team of scheduled arrivals. In addition, this person will ensure that all completed loads are inspected for appropriately secured trailer seals recorded on bills of lading.
When working in the ASRS dock, this position will be responsible for scanning pallets for loads, verifying pallets to orders, closing out trucks verifying accuracy of bills of lading and interacting with carriers.
