Job description

Are you a licensed Physician looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU! HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

Pay Rate: $204 / hour
*1099

Details
  • Full Time Schedules
  • Some weekends may be required
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
  • Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
  • Mon-Thurs OR Tues-Fri
  • four 10's or five 8's - willing to discuss

Duties
  • Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients' concerns, and answering patients' questions.
  • Diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients.
  • Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes.
  • Updating patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
  • Recommending and designing treatment plans.
  • Prescribing medications or therapies.
  • Explaining medical procedures to patients.
  • Consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, and working with other healthcare staff, such as nurses, assistants, and other physicians.
  • Complying with medical laws (for example, HIPAA).

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Physician by the State in CO. The license MUST be in good standing
  • 1 year of experience
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO
