The Role:

Due to the continued growth of our Retail and Farming operations, we are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Accountant to join our Head Office team in O’Connor.

About You

If you are a recently qualified a CA/CPA Accountant looking to gain experience or a seasoned accountant looking for a new challenge in a diverse organisation, this role will suit you.

You will need to be proactive, solutions-focused and confident working within a dynamic environment. As the business is continually growing, you are adaptable to change and enjoy taking on new challenges.

Responsibilities/Duties Include but not limited to:

• AP & AR processing for nominated companies.
• Take ownership of month-end close and account reconciliations for nominated companies.
• Prepare and lodge BAS obligations for nominated companies.
• Liaise with internal purchasing team and assist with import costings.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Support finance team as required on other adhoc tasks.

Skills

• Previous MYOB experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or WiiSE would be advantageous.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable to change.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
