Handling complex and higher exposure claims, the full-time State Licensed Claim Specialist will manage investigations, determine coverage, and maintain customer contact while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Key responsibilities Perform timely claim tasks and document files to ensure fair resolution in accordance with legal standards Make informed coverage decisions and evaluate subrogation potential based on policy language and state laws Conduct thorough investigations, analyze potential exposure, and formulate action plans based on findings Required qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience Minimum of five years of claim handling or insurance-related experience required Completion of INS, AIC, or CPCU is preferred Experience in General Liability and/or Professional Liability is preferred Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license and complete continuing education requirements
