Patient Care Technician
The Patient Care Tech will provide nursing support for The Renaissance, a 45 bed skilled nursing/rehab facility at Sibley Memorial Hospital.
The Clinical Technician (PCT) works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team.
- Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
- Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures
- Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy
- Inserts IVs
- Measures and records intake and output
- Inserts and removes Foley catheters

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or GED
- Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia
- Minimum 2 years patient care experience required
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required
Salary Range: Minimum 21.44/hour - Maximum 33.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
