Support Specialist
Support Specialist provides key human resources and administrative support for the PCS and deployment of civilian and contractor personnel to overseas locations. The role ensures personnel and families are fully prepared, documented, and compliant with all requirements for international travel and host-nation entry. The specialist serves as the central coordinator for all deployment and PCS actions.
PCS Coordination Manage end-to-end PCS and deployment actions for civilian and contractor personnel. Coordinate passports, visas, medical readiness, security processing, and required training. Ensure compliance with Army, DoD, and Department of State requirements.
Personnel Readiness & Documentation. Maintain accurate deployment packets and personnel records. Track completion of medical, administrative, and training requirements. Serve as the primary administrative contact for deploying personnel and families.
Country Clearance & Overseas Status Submit and track APACS country clearances. Ensure personnel meet host-nation and theater-entry standards. Support proper assignment of status under COM and CCMD authorities.
Accountability & Reporting Maintain visibility of personnel throughout the PCS and deployment lifecycle. Ensure timely entry into required accountability systems. Provide leadership with accurate personnel status updates.
Interagency & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with embassies, CCMD staff, HR offices, medical providers, and mission partners. Support personnel navigating dual COM/CCMD reporting structures. Assist with resolving administrative or travel issues.
Minimum Experience 3 years' experience in military or federal HR, personnel operations, or deployment processing. Bachelor's Degree.
