In this position...

This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle the end-to-end lifecycle of Model e’s most critical strategic initiatives – from initial problem-solving to operational rollout. As a key workstream leader, you will be at the forefront of shaping the long-term direction of a critical business unit of Ford with high visibility to leadership. This role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our EV and AV strategies align with market demands and contribute to company growth. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred or equivalent
• Proven track record of 8+ years successfully launching and scaling innovative projects or businesses, preferably in the automotive or technology sectors (or Master’s Degree and 5+ years).
• Proven experience leading high impact cross-functional projects at global scale, working with various levels of the organization. Inherently curious, analytically inclined and love solving complex problems
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a rapidly evolving industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to build consensus and mobilize teams towards shared goals.
• Analytical prowess with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams and challenging the status quo, being self-driven, and bringing creative solutions to lead the resolution of complex issues

• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (written presentations for a senior executive audience), Excel (mathematical modeling of large data sets), Word (white papers).

Even better, you may have...

• Previous roles within Strategy organizations or at Management Consulting firms in Manager or Senior Manager roles
• Prior experience leading strategy projects and large-scale programs/projects at a global scale with
• Basic understanding of electric vehicle technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.

Work Location & Hybrid Model: At Ford, we believe that working together in person accelerates our transformation into a more dynamic and innovative company. This position follows our hybrid work pattern:

· On-Site: Four days per week at your assigned Ford facility.

· Remote: One day per week optional remote work.

This role is location-agnostic across our primary innovation hubs. The successful candidate may choose to be based out of one of the following locations:

· Dearborn/Detroit, MI (Global HQ / Michigan Central)

· Palo Alto, CA (Greenfield Labs)

· Long Beach, CA (Advanced EV Development Center)

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100 in Dearborn/Detroit, MI and $127,100-$239,900 in Palo Alto, CA and Long Beach, CA.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week. #LI-Hybrid
