MLT/MLS Travel Assignment | Haxtun, CO
We are hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment at a well-established healthcare facility in Haxtun, Colorado.
Assignment Details
Location: Haxtun, CO
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour days
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
On-call: Rotating weeknights and weekends required
Start Date: ASAP
This role is suited for lab professionals comfortable working in a clinical setting with strong phlebotomy skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.

Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently
Collect blood samples and perform phlebotomy as needed
Analyze specimens and report results in a timely manner
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning
Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
Strong phlebotomy skills required
ASCP or equivalent (CLS) certification
AHA BLS certification
Bachelor's degree (for MLS) or Associate degree in a science field (for MLT)
Ability to work independently in high-volume settings
