Job description

We are seeking a Medical Device Field Reimbursement Manager to join an early-stage medical device company focused on expanding market adoption and accelerating patient access.


*Prefer for candidate to be located west of the Mississippi River, preferably California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas or Utah.


About the Role

This is a field-based role (~50% travel) supporting providers and sales teams as the company moves from early commercialization into broader market development. This is a high-visibility opportunity to directly impact growth at a company still in its early commercialization phase, where reimbursement support is critical to scaling adoption.



Responsibilities

  • Partner with field sales teams to support reimbursement needs in real time
  • Work directly with physicians, hospitals, and provider offices on coding, coverage, and billing questions
  • Assist with prior authorizations, claims issues, denials, and appeals
  • Help remove reimbursement barriers impacting product adoption and utilization
  • Educate providers on payer processes and reimbursement pathways
  • Support ongoing market development efforts in early commercialization regions
  • Provide hands-on, field-based support (~50% travel) to customers and accounts



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in medical device reimbursement, provider support, or healthcare billing/coding
  • Experience working with hospitals, physician offices, or field sales organizations



Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and reimbursement workflows
  • Comfortable in a field-based, customer-facing role with frequent travel (~50%)
  • Strong communicator who can translate reimbursement processes into simple, actionable guidance
  • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset (not strategy-heavy)
