What We Offer: Novant Health Pediatrics Sports Medicine - Midtown is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist!Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends or holidaysThe Radiologic Technologist I works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time.Join Team Aubergine. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.Experience: One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.Licensure/Certification: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required.Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.Additional Skills (preferred):NH MedicalRegistry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(required)Required within 6 months of hire NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital OutpatientCertified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT( required)NH Medical Group Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(Required)What You'll Do: Job responsibilities will include the following:Collect patient information and complete pre-visit questionnaires before the provider arrives.Perform diagnostic imaging, including taking X-rays, following proper safety protocols.
