Custodial Position
Under the direction of the site administrator, performs custodial duties such as cleaning classrooms, cafeteria, gymnasiums, offices and bathrooms, and maintaining custodial equipment. Assists in keeping an assigned school or District site and grounds clean and in orderly condition. Coordinates, assigns, directs, and evaluates others engaged in custodial work. Serves as the immediate supervisor for designated employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Custodial experience including experience in a supervisory capacity. IF HIRED - PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost): - TB Clearance - Physical - Fingerprinting PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Maintain valid California driver's license of the proper class to operate vehicles or combinations of vehicles to satisfy job requirements. - Maintain District-insurable driving record.
