Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg

Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with 2 positions available • 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • Required certifications: BLS from AHA • RN License in state of employment or compact license required • Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families • Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols • Monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers • Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant clinical aspects
