This salaried position is part of the Engineering Department, with a standard Monday-Friday day shift. However, occasional extended hours may be required.

Essential Job Functions

• Troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs, instrumentation, and drives on production lines using analytical and systems-based approaches.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvements and manage those improvements across multiple high-speed production lines.
• Address gaps in automation and collaborate with Plant Systems teams to optimize PLC programs, documenting and reporting results.
• Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings, manuals, process flow diagrams, and spare parts lists.
• Design and modify electrical and control systems using CAD or other software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure system reliability and address departmental needs.
• Assess and improve manufacturing systems and machine reliability in abrasive environments.
• Act as project manager for installation and improvement projects, developing specifications, justifications, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Coordinate the design, planning, installation, and commissioning phases of projects with cross-functional teams.
