PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A Gas Utility Operator will work as part of a two-person construction crew and will be responsible for installing and replacing gas mainlines and services as well as the operation of excavation equipment, primarily a Loader/Hoe or a Mini-Excavator. In addition, the Gas Utility Operator will assist in other excavation, installation and maintenance operations that include:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a proven track record of good attendance, and committed to workplace safety. Candidates must be able to work Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and be available for after hour call outs. The work shift could also include holidays and overtime.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with an hourly rate of pay starting at $36.96, after 6 months $40.69, and after 1 year $42.94.
