Java Developer Onsite Location : Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot

Design, build, and secure REST APIs

Integrate applications with OAuth2 authentication

Apply secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and Security teams

Ensure backend services follow modern security standards (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security)

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on Java experience

Strong expertise in Spring Boot

Solid experience with Microservices architecture

Strong REST API development experience

Working knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security

Proven experience building secure, scalable backend systems

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience in the Financial Services industry
