Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) - Cape Coral, Florida

Company: Aviata at Santa Barbara

Scedule: Full time, Monday - Friday.

Requirements: RN or LPN. Wound Care Certification preferred. 1+ years experience required.

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team! As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our team-oriented environment, providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting wound healing and preventing complications. Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and the nursing staff
  • Participate in the development and achievement of Wound Care Program and objectives
  • Provide educational programming and staff development functions
  • Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team to encompass all aspects of care
  • Perform wound assessments, treatments, and follow-ups as ordered by the physician
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Wound Care experience required, (2) years preferred
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of practice
