Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers.

It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products.

Position Description :

We are currently searching for a Technical Quality Manager in our Woburn, Massachusetts office. As the Technical Quality Manager, you will plan, develop, and implement appropriate quality systems for the Industrial Measurement Field Service business to assure the quality of our service is being delivered consistently .

You will also manage the implementation of ISO17025 Quality Systems and standards . Role may expand to support Latin America as well .

This is a hybrid position with travel expectations up to 35%.

Your key responsibilities include :

  • Responsible for managing ISO17025 Accredited calibration services
  • Ensure Field Service compliance to Quality Management System and ISO 17025 : 2017
  • Support ISO9001
  • Develop and maintain field service SOPs and provide proper training on processes and procedures.
  • Perform technical analysis on laboratory and Field Services non-conformances
  • Continually improving methods and procedures for calibration and develop best practices
  • Continually monitors field equipment is functional / calibrated and recommends upgrades / replacements as needed
  • Uncertainty Budget Calculations
  • Be an excellent collaborator across teams, functions, organizational boundaries inside and outside of Vaisala

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of work Experience (Pharma / Med-Device)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Project Management experience
  • Experience in an ISO 17025 Quality Systems or GMP regulated environments
  • OSHA10 hour construction certification will be required upon hire
  • Solid customer service background with a passion for excellence in satisfaction.
  • Analytical and positive approach to problem solving
  • Must have a valid US passport and the ability to travel internationally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to interact with Regulatory Agencies and Certification bodies (internal and external audits)
  • Understanding of FDA, cGMP, USP, and MHRA
