  • Company Description* FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. *Job Description* We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented*Assembly Team Lead*to support and coordinate daily operations of our Assembly Line during the first shift. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will lead a team of associates, ensure adherence to quality standards, and maintain efficiency across processes. Your expertise will play a key role in training new team members and maintaining operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles. *Key Responsibilities : * * Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities. * Be proficient in all departmental processes; act as a trainer and mentor for new hires and cross-training initiatives. * Implement and promote BPS (Business Process Standards) principles for continuous improvement and process optimization. * Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules. * Read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and special handling sheets (SHS). * Use manual / power tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform functional tests. * Inspect finished products for quality, identify defects, and manage non-conforming materials appropriately. * Rework units as needed to meet quality standards. * Support a safe and organized work environment through adherence to best practices in material handling *Qualifications* * *Required : *High School Diploma or equivalent. * Manufacturing experience in assembly and / or CNC machine operation preferred. * Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (10-15 people). * Must be able to speak, read, and write English. * Must be able to work overtime when requested. * Must be flexible to work in other departments when requested.
